A82 Pulpit Rock Overnight closures March, April and May

Please be advised that the next planned overnight closures of the A82 at Pulpit Rock will commence at 22.00 hrs on Monday 24 March 2014 and end at 06.00 hrs Friday 28 March 2014.

During this period of 4 nights the road will be closed from 22.00 hrs until 06.00hrs but will be open at all other times.

Projections for future planned overnight closures are;

  April 2014                            less than two weeks                       dates to be advised

  May 2014                             less than one week                         dates to be advised

We are now coming to the end of this year long series of  road closures from works at Pulpit Rock and will, hopefully, soon see the benefits of the extended journeys which many of us have endured over the past year.

Transport Scotland and the Contractor are to be congratulated on listing to the voices of the community and revising the closure programme from the originally planned 14 weeks of full closure to a series of overnight closures.
